About T&S Home
Tanguay & Sons was founded by my father, Don Tanguay in 1992. It has always been, and still is, a small family owned business focused on personal connections and professional service. I was personally drawn to a career in home improvement during the construction of our family's summer house on a lake in Western Maine when I was 15 years old and I have been involved in building and remodeling ever since.
With a young family of my own, I understand how projects in and around the home can affect the day to day. I know the difference between a clean, well-organized job site and a hazard zone. As an experienced builder, I also know that unseen complications arise and clear communication and intelligent solutions are essential to mitigate delays. Modern schedules are demanding on their own (did someone say travel sports?), so having reliable project management, with people showing up when they say they will, and working efficiently, makes a world of difference. These details and more, is what it means to me to remodel your house while respecting your home.
We are happy to take new calls with potential clients, but we absolutely love getting the call to tackle that second floor bathroom two years after the kitchen renovation. Repeat business is built on earned trust, and over the years, many of our T&S customers have become dear friends.
There is so much variety and possibility when it comes to enhancing your home. One of my personal favorite modifications is the adding of outdoor living spaces, such as covered and screened-in porches. It never gets old to hear about how these bonus rooms change the way people experience and maximize their space.
